Step 11: Putting The Siding On

The last step has arrived! While your panel looks pretty good right now, we want it to look like a professional panel. To do this we add a little "J" flashing around the edge of the panel. This can be a little trick so make sure to watch the video.

What you'll need in this step:

  • At least 14 feet of vinyl "J" flashing
  • clear silicone
  • drill

Cut the J flashing into lengths that fit around the sides of the panel.

What we're going to do is put some silicone inside of the flashing and attach it to the edge of the panel.

I like to drill some holes in the flashing so I can attach it to the panel.

Once the flashing is attached you can leave it to dry and your panel is finished!
