Now that you've got your hub and blades built you can attach them together. After this step it's going to start looking like a wind generator. This is the step where you'll start to feel like you've accomplished something because up until now we've been building parts... now it's time to put them together!

What are you going to need in this step?

• Drill with 1/4" bit
• finished blades
• hub
• 6 bolts (I used 1/4")
• wrench

You're going to want to measure 1" in from the edge of the blade. That's where your first hole will go. We're measuring 1" in so we make sure the blade stays strong.

After that just measure where your holes should go (take the measurements from your hub). Drill the holes and screw the blades onto the hub.

We're not going to be balancing them in this step because it's easier to balance them when they're connected to the motor. In the next steps we're going to be building the body so we can balance the blades.
